SESSION ONE - APHA Sale Stakes Session

 Open to horses eligible for APHA Sale Stakes classes:
• Reining Horses - All Ages and 2-YO Reining horses.
• Weanling, Yearling and 2-YO Western Pleasure horses.
 • Weanling and Yearling Hunter Under Saddle horses.
• Weanling and Yearling Halter horses.

ELIGIBILITY
• Horses must be registered in the APHA Regular Registry.
• Horse must be offered for sale through the APHA Fall Championship Show Select Sale. Horses that sold are eligible. Horses that did not sell are eligible.
• All sale fees must be paid in full—including consignment fee, commission, no sale fee or commission, pre-sale penalty, early arrival fee, etc.
• Enrollment fee must be paid in full.
• Horses scratched at the sale for veterinary reason are eligible with approved, detailed, Vet Certificate.
• Horses scratched and not at the auction will not be eligible to show.

Entry Fee and Commissions
 Total Entry Fee $1,250 ($500 Sale Entry Fee plus $750 Sale Stakes Enrollment Fee), plus 9% commission or no sale fee of $450 or 5% of the final sale ring price, whichever is greater. Sales Stakes enrollment required for Session One. Enrollment fee must be paid whether horse sells or not in order to be eligible.

APHA SALE STAKES CLASSES
For horses offered in Session One at the 2008 APHA Fall Championship Show Sale. Classes will be held during the 2008 APHA Fall Championship Show. Horses must be registered in the APHA Regular Registry.

 APHA SALE STAKES FUTURITY CLASSES
For horses offered at the 2008 APHA Fall Championship Show Sale. Classes will be held during the 2009 APHA Fall Championship Show.

WESTERN PLEASURE
• Weanlings - Show in 2009 in Longe Line. (These horses would be eligible to show again as a 2-YO with payment of an additional $500 entry fee due in 2010.)
• Yearlings - Show in 2009 in 2-YO Snaffle Bit.

HUNTER UNDER SADDLE
• Weanlings - Show in 2009 in Longe Line. (These horses would be eligible to show again as a 2-YO with payment of an additional $500 entry fee due in 2010.)
• Yearlings - Show in 2009 in 2-YO Hunter Under Saddle.

 HALTER
• Weanlings - Show in 2009 as Yearlings.

REINING
 • 2-YOs - Show in 2009 as 3-YOs.

APHA Sales Stakes classes and purses will be managed by APHA.
